Gallery Extended 2.2
Gallery Extended ("GX") allows you to upload and delete images via the front end. Additionally, gallery entries can easily be related to all types of entries or ID's (weblog entries, comments, member ID's, etc).
Every piece of EE content, from weblog entries, comments, and member accounts, to Ratings or Freeform entries... all have unique entry ids. But their ID's are unique only within their type. Though ID's will definately overlap each other, a "type" relation can be specified as well, making Gallery Extended super flexible, and gives you the ability to relate gallery entries to literally anything.
All images uploaded using Gallery Extended become entries in the native ExpressionEngine Photo Gallery module. You can record titles, captions, custom fields, categories and more! Gallery Extended does just what the name says - it extends the Photo Gallery module. It builds up above and beyond it's capabilities, giving you more flexibility.
Gallery Extended also includes a handy Image Tab for the Publish/Edit page in the CP to allow for easy image uploads and automatic Entry assigning!
